RAVEN the SOLID BLACK POINTER
This page is currently under construction, last changed November 12 1997.
This page is dedicated to Raven our Solid Black Pointer, and other
Solid friends as they come along. You should be aware that solid coloured
pointers can come in each of the four pointer colours, Black, Liver, Orange
and Lemon.

Raven is certainly living up to her
heritage by performing outstoundingly in the field in her first season,
even with the almost non-existance of wild quail.
As you may well
notice in the following photographs, Solid Colour Pointers, aren't
actually completely one colour. You'll often find a small amount
of white on a Solids chest. The extent to the amount of white on a solid
depends on the breeding, and you may well find what are called mis-marked
solids that have white on the tips of the tail, socks on the feet and even
collars of white around the neck. But as they
say, a GOOD pointer can not be a bad colour. But they may be mis-marked.

Here is a newly found friend of Raven. Corky (US CH Solivia's Why Be Normal) is
a Solid Liver dog bred by Susan Thompson <SLVRCHALC@aol.com>. Corky lives
in Georgia, USA.
